Notification

  • Submitters will receive official notification of accept/reject by Monday, October 5. 
  • Accepted abstracts are expected to complete the steps listed on this page to produce a paper for the proceedings and prepare their presentation for the conference. 
  • Within Epapers there is a checkbox where you can confirm your abstract acceptance. This consent is due October 12th. Login into Epapers for more information. 

 

Finalizing Your Paper

Please follow these steps below to prepare your final paper for publication. 

Step One: Submit Your Draft Paper for Review

Submit Today!

  • Accepted abstracts must submit a draft paper for review between MondayOctober 26, and Sunday, November 15.
  • Paper guidelines:
  • Review comments will be provided by the Session Chair by Friday,  November 20. 

Step Two: Submit New Version of Paper Incorporating TPC Feedback

  • Session Chairs should have feedback finalized on Friday, November 20
  • Upload the newest version of your paper, incorporating the feedback by  Friday, December 4.

Step Three: Submit Final Paper for Proceedings and Copyright Form

  • Final papers must be submtited for the proceedings no later than Monday, December 14. Please have you final paper submission be 8 pages or less.
  • Copyright forms must be submitted along with the final paper. 
  • Choose only ONE of the following versions to complete and return. Instructions will be provided for form upload.

PowerPoint Presentation Prep

Submit Bio and Draft Slides

  • Submit draft slides and speaker bio through your File Collections Link by Friday, January 8. Link will be sent directly to the Speaker from Conference Catalysts, LLC.
  • Feedback on draft slides will be sent to the speaker by Friday, January 15.
  • Slide Presentation Template - Please note that you may have your company logo on the first slide only.
  • Please use a 16:9 aspect ratio on all slides.
  • Please prepare a 25-minute presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A.

Submit Final Slides for the Archive

  • Submit final slides and pre-recorded video through your personalized file collections link by Tuesday, February 9.

Poster Guidelines

Final Poster 

  • Submit the final poster and pre-recorded video through your personalized file collections link by Tuesday, February 9.

  • Your poster will be posted on the DVCon website approximately 90 days after the conference for inclusion in the Archive.

Our recommended approach to record a compatible video from content displayed on your computer screen and voice recorded via the computer microphone, is to record the presentation using Zoom, available to users on most platforms and in most countries:

In order for videos to be verified by the technical program committee, we ask you that you please finalize your video by Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

Guidelines for preparing your video:

Duration (Oral Presentation): 25 minutes pre-recorded presentation 
Duration (Poster Presentation): 10 minutes pre-recorded presentation 
File size: 150MB max
Video file format: mp4
PowerPoint Dimensions: Minimum height 480 pixels, aspect ratio: 16:9
Poster Format: PDF
